Geri and Freki are Odin’s two wolves. Geri, meaning "the greedy one," and Freki, meaning "the ravenous one," were two of Odin's many wolves who followed the god Odin into battle. In return, Odin rewarded them with meat from his plate and a place by his side.
This prototype Viking Wolf Head ring buckle was hand forged from quality 1018 steel with mirrored twists and snarling wolf head finials.
The steel was drawn out and forged to a width of 3/8" at its thickest point. Perfect for historical reenactment, renaissance festivals, feasting in a viking mead hall, SCA events or any occasion where a viking style belt is worn.
No power tools, or machining, traditional hammer finished at the anvil, wire brushed and finished with canola oil and beeswax while red hot.
All hand forged items will have minor variances in design.
