These barrettes were hand forged from quality 1018 steel to a 3/16 of an inch at their thickest point making them very light, delicate and very strong. They were forged with an integral loop with mirrored twists and delicately curved double finials.
Well suited for both thick or lighter, long hair I think that they are perfect for historical reenactment, renaissance festivals, SCA events or everyday wear.
No power tools, or machining, traditional hammer finished at the anvil, wire brushed and finished with beeswax and orange oil.
